A Year of The Shamanic Medicine Wheel
This 1 year Shamanic training consists of 8 residential weekends following the Solstices and the Equinoxes, in a wild and rural setting in a Lancashire valley, 12 miles from Lancaster.
I will be offering ONLY 6 places to people interested in stepping out of everyday life to connect with and celebrate the circle of life as nature intended, cocooned and immersed in a small intimate group.
We will be working out in the natural rugged landscape and connecting with nature, as well as sharing in the safety of a small intimate group for:
Shamanic journeying for self, others and the environment
Finding your own personal Shamanic ‘tool kit’
Gentle mini vision quests
Taking part in rituals specific for the time for year
Outdoor fire rituals and drumming
Personal development work
Living simply and in harmony with nature
Learning how to bring all this work into everyday life
There will also be free time available to walk, read and/or rest between the workshop activities.
The weekends will run from Friday evenings through to Sunday afternoons.
The residential space is part of The Middlewood Trust and is an ecological and environmentally friendly building set ½ a mile down a non vehicular road (there is a 4×4 vehicle available to transport luggage and drums) and comprises of:
A natural outdoor hand built sauna
Outdoor fire circle
A separate yurt nearby for indoor work
A wood burning stove
Under floor heating
Beautiful wooden, hand crafted bunk beds (3 people per bedroom, bring your own bedding/sleeping bags)
Indoor compost toilets
Water, electricity and indoor showers
We will share the food preparation and cooking in a basic kitchen
A small but very comfortable dining and resting area

I am looking for 6 people who have worked me previously and will be willing to commit to ALL 8 weekends.
