Comment: Over the past two years, I have attended four of Jayne’s courses covering homeopathy and other areas of interest. I have just signed up for the introduction to shamanism and thoroughly look forward to yet another of Jayne’s courses. The subjects often stretch you and open doors in your mind. The theory, the chat and Jayne’s experience help your understanding immeasurably. My personal learning has been fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend Jayne or any of her courses on offer.
Comment: I would personally recommend Jayne for both homeopathic treatment and as a wonderful leader of a variety of thoroughly intersting and fun range of short courses. I feel that she has personally helped me with a lot of self development work
Comment: The short courses offer a fascinating insight into homeopathy and associated therapies. I have met some wonderful like-minded people and discovered that there is much, much more learning to be done, not only about alternative ways of healing but also about myself and my spiritual journey

Exciting Times - 2006
As you are probably aware, there has been a huge growth in interest in complimentary medicine over the last twenty years or so. This interest shows no sign of slowing down, in fact more and more people are seeking help from complementary practitioners, and many conventional medical practitioners are now taking a keen interest. Homeopathy is as popular now as at any time in it’s history. Indeed Homeopathy is often said to be the medicine of this century. These are exciting times and The Integrative College was formed in 2001 to meet this continuing demand and to bring the teaching of Homeopathy into the 21st century.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine that works with energy; however compared to other systems of healing that work with energy, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, or Ayurvedic Medicine in India, there is remarkably little understanding of energy in traditional and practical homeopathy and it’s training. The Integrative College believes that without an understanding of the human energy system Homeopathy cannot be understood or practised as a respected form of medicine.
The Integrative College feels that learning should be enjoyable so rather than imposing exams it encourages and supports people in developing the learning and assessment process that works best for them. Unlike many colleges, which teach mainly by delivering lectures it employs a variety of different teaching strategies. This not only maximizes learning but also makes the learning more interactive and enjoyable. The course has been developed with experiential and student-centred learning as the essential teaching methods. The College believes that people learn best not just by knowing the theory but by putting the theory into practice and having the experience (with support & supervision) of actually working with people from the outset.
A vital part of being a successful homeopath involves getting accurate information from your client. In order to do that one has to create an environment of safety and trust. Being able to build good rapport with clients involves having good interpersonal skills. The College believes that the development of good interpersonal (or counselling) skills is an absolutely necessary part of good homeopathy training that is often hugely neglected. Good counselling skills can also in them selves be part of the healing process. We all respond better to being listened to, accepted, feeling understood, valued and not judged.
As part of the course there is detailed study of the human energy system from the perspective of the Indo-European energy model. The course takes in to account and works deeply with the chakras and the elements. Esoteric anatomy and the formation of the subtle and physical bodies will be taught, as well as the organ and systems of the body. The course looks at how energy imbalances manifest as physical pathologies and the concept of harmonic resonance and the vital force. On the Homeopathic side the course teaches how Homeopathic remedies work, how homeopathic remedies relate to other forms of healing and how to apply this understanding of energy in order to work truly holistically.
The course also teaches the integration and use of flower essences, herbs, diet and nutrition as an essential part of the holistic treatment.
The Integrative College welcomed it’s first group of students for the Diploma Certificate in January 2003, who have now successfully completed the course. The college now has a 3rd year Diploma group running in Lancaster, a second year diploma group running in Leeds and there will be an opportunity to join a new group of students starting the course in September 2006. The course consists of a 1 year foundation course with a further 2 years to complete the full Homeopathy training. The attendance required is two-day meetings monthly for 10 months, each year and the 2006 course is to be held in Central London.
There is no other training course in the World that is teaching Homeopathy as an integrated system.
The course will award a Diploma in Integrative Homeopathy on successful completion of the course and will support students in joining one of the registering bodies in Homeopathy after qualification.
Paul Francis, the course director is a Lancashire based therapist and teacher, who has helped write the Government –recognised National Occupational Standards for Homeopathy. Paul has practised and taught counselling and homeopathy for more than 18 years
