One Day Introduction to Shamanism Embodied

Saturday 18th September 2010 from 10am to 5pm - In Richmond, North Yorks - Cost £50 or £40 for early bird booking before 31st August. This is basic introduction to Shamanic Journeying and drumming.

Saturday 30th October 2010 from 10am to 5pm - At Calderdale Yoga Centre, Hebden Bridge, West Yorks, HX7 7DD see http://www.calderdaleyoga.co.uk/ - Cost £50 or £40 for early bird booking before end Sept. This is basic introduction to Shamanic Journeying and drumming.

These two introductory workshops are suitable for those who are new to this ancient form of healing. The course will be mainly experiential, with a guide of how to begin to ‘journey’, an introduction to ritual & cleansing, safety & protection and ways to encourage self awareness & personal development, through the practice and embodiment of Shamanic journeying. There will be a restriction on group size so early booking is advisable. More Info

A One Year training ‘Living on the Shamanic Medicine Wheel’

This will be for people who have completed at least one introductory workshop and will be aimed at more advanced and experienced shamanic practitioners. The workshop will be based around the cycle of the shamanic medicine wheel, which has been specially designed for Shamanism Embodied and includes the Solstices, the Equinoxes and also the celebrations of Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas and Samhain. There will be 8 weekend workshops of which 2 will be outdoors living on the Earth, campfires with ritual and ceremony, drumming and chanting and much more…..
